30 mL of silicon oil (M1000, viscosity=0.97Pas) is injected inside a tank of gelatin (rigidity E=584Pa), when the crack tip reaches the depth of 8.1 cm below the surface, a load (m=110g, L*l=6*14cm) is applied at the surface. The ascending crack is defected towards the load due to the heterogeneous stress field induced by the load applied at the surface. Experiment performed by S. Furst, S. Mac Gowan and V.
